In addition to hexadecimal editing, The program supports enhanced regular expression scripts to perform operations (such as sophisticated search, replace, color, etc.) on files. These operations can be highlighted with different colors so that you can preview the modifications with the possibility of "unlimited" undo/redo steps. Regular expression scripts can be generated and edited by "REX Wizard" or as a sequence of statements with auto syntax coloring (or both). The system provide a debug mode for REX scripts with syntax errors and warnings
Another incredible tool, the "Strut Wizard", helps the user define simple and compound structures. When a structure is applied to files, it displays views describing the inner structure of each file with optional display parameters. This tool can be used to display files with specific formats highlighting non-conforming data, if any, or for analyzing files with unknown formats.
You can use palette colors in marking specific locations for temporary book-marking, for analysis of structured data, for debugging or for training purposes. It also has a unique built-in feature, "History Wizard", that allows you to restart the history of changes of documents and color marking during a session and replay the changes with different speeds, stopping and restarting animation. This feature is also integrated with REX so that you can undo a script and review the steps. This feature can be extended to next sessions, i.e. you can "Do" or "Undo" what was edited in previous sessions
